Regardless of how much fun Dragon*Con is, nobody likes to stand in line. So last year we added vendors selling adult beverages to make the wait not so painful and quite possibly more enjoyable. But this year we have gone a step further and revamped our registration system.

Which workshop is right for you?
This year Dragon*Con has a wide variety of spectacular workshops designed to offer something for everyone! If you are stressed out Erin Gray can teach you how to relax with tai chi. If a ghost is keeping you up at night and the Ghost Busters are out of your price range, Benjamin Radford can show you how to investigate those pushy phantasms the scientific way. If that manuscript has been sitting on the shelf gathering dust because you are just not sure it is ready to publish then Jody Lynn Nye, A.C. Crispin, Michael Stackpole, or Aaron Alston may be able to help. If you want to learn an alternate form of fitness or perfect your budding belly dancing skills, Phoenicia can help. By the way folks, this one is FREE! Or if you can’t seem to clear your mind enough to decide which workshop is the one for you, then Virginia Hey can help you sort that out with meditation. No matter which workshop you choose you won’t be disappointed.

Your time to transfer is running out!!!
The last day Dragon*Con will process membership transfers will be Aug 3rd. Anyone wanting to transfer membership must do so through the Dragon*Con Office. We will not be processing membership transfers at the show. Note: There will be a $20.00 fee per transfer and memberships cannot be transferred forward to the following year.

Please remember that there will be times that some of the convention hotels will be closed to the public. When this occurs you will need your badge to enter (We know you never go anywhere at Dragon*Con without it, but this is just a reminder.)
Dolphins have arrived at the Aquarium and you have a chance to join in the experience!
April 2, 2011 marked the opening of AT&T Dolphin Tales, an incredible new gallery, theater and show and the biggest expansion yet at the world’s largest aquarium. Dolphin Tales is dedicated to creating memorable connections between humans and animals and helping guests better understand one of mankind’s favorite aquatic animals, the majestic dolphin.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, Sep 3rd from 7:00 PM-11:00 PM. Advance tickets are $18.00 per person and after Aug 31st will go up to $20.00 per person.
All of the Georgia Aquarium’s main exhibits will be available! We will also have special guests and entertainment during this unique experience and the food court and cash bars will be available as well. Shuttle buses will also be provided.
